I think they confirmed it's "classic" Mags, meaning not any particular storyline or phase of Marvel. They were thinking about redoing the White Magneto statue in classic suit but decided to go with a completely new piece.

I think just a switch out head makes the difference between classic and AOA Magneto doesn’t it? The costume should be the same basically

It's basically the same with some differences...the most notable probably being the red cape. I'd prefer purple.

Oh ok. You’re right. I didn’t remember the red cape. I had to search it. That wouldn’t be too hard to make a switch out for either. Change of head and cape or torso altogether could make this this best Magneto out there then.
