Less hassle to keep it. I don't know if your aware but next year if you sell more then $600 on eBay they are going to send a 1099 and report to IRS.

I had no idea! That's horrible! Ebay already takes 13% of the sale. That's more than enough

Damn, and I just put the Iron Studios 1/4 Mandalorian up for sale (had a change of heart and decided I don't want it)

Keep your receipts. You only need to pay tax on profit. After fees, etc you might break even or lose money. But it's a big hassle.

With all the hassles of selling on eBay now, the tax reporting is kinda the final nail for me.

Whaaat??? Oh great, another tax. I'll add that to the inflation and... yep, I pretty much work for free now. This is beyond frustrating. At least receipts are easy enough to retrieve.

More and more it seems like selling in FB groups is the only way to go now. eBay just gets worse.
