This piece is just bad. The facesculpt is bizarre and the pose/base is just uninspired. Only good thing is no mixed media.

Sure, but it's difficult to separate the two. And it's clear that they have at least attempted to sculpt Hayden as it's similar, it's just off.

I actually think there's a nice little statue in here, I like the base, mostly like the pose. But the feet are both facing inwards which is not a natural position to be in, especially with the twisted torso. This doesn't make sense a a mythos. They probably should have made this a PF with a refined pose (simply twist that right leg clockwise a little) Better head sculpt and a light up saber. That probably would have been better received.

Maybe its cause i'm not a die hard star wars fan, but its not a bad statue. Close up of the face looks nice.

Sideshow did state the Mythos are from battles unseen not taken from the movies/shows. (so you can just unsee it from your collection lol, it will just become more valuable at the lower ES anyway)

It's not that it's bad it just isn't up to the expected standards especially for the Mythos line. Wonder if the same people involved with the Emperor did this?

The Mythos "ethos" is wild, unexplored, with hyper realistic detail. Last time it was lack of attention but If Mythos goes away again Sideshow will have to look in the mirror for the explanation this time.
This looks like a nice Rebels animated statue for sale at a Disney store.

I like it a lot. Nothing will be as cool as Ventress Mythos (or OG Vader Mythos) but it's a solid Anakin statue.

I do agree, both Anakin and Obi are not at the same level of the rest of the Mythos line

Is it a different artist? They are good but agreed not the same realistic details like all the earlier ones. It’s very obvious seeing the style and pics. I do like obi and Anakin though. I do agree the likeness for anakin is off. More like half realistic and half clone wars.
