The Beautiful Music of Final Fantasy XIV

I hope it's ok to create such a thread. I wasn't sure if I should put it here in Video Games, or the music area.

I just wanted a thread I could share the epic music from this MMO. Which isn't a surprise, seeing as how Square Enix always has some of the best music in their games.

And if others play the game, as I do, maybe discussion can be born from this.

I will start off by posting "Weight of the World - Prelude Version", which is featured in the crossover raid series with Nier Automata. Masayoshi Soken, again, masterfully blended these two tracks into one glorious song.

(I wish youtube bbcode worked here)

A few years back a friend and I went to a symphony of Final Fantasy music. He adores the MMOs (XI and XIV) and when they played from them it was amazing. I have soft spots for VI and VII myself.

Also, Nier music? Absolute god tier for me, thank you so much for sharing.

My pleasure! It's great to hear that your buddy seems to love FFXIV as much as I do! I, too, have soft spots for VI and VIII, as well IV. I absolutely love what they did with the music in FFVII Remake

As far as Nier goes, I really need to stop procrastinating and actually play that game. lol If this raid series in FFXIV is anything to go by, the music in that is just as epic.

Here's another awesome song. Again, Masayoshi Soken is a master at what he does.

Not from FFXIV, but you do fight Kefka in a raid fight in the second expansion. And they used the same music!
