Maybe one day we will be able to watch a match in the stadium. I would like to take my family to a derby in Spain, Italy or England one day. The energy and the environment cannot be matched ... it's just like the Oliver Stone ad for the 2014 World Cup.

Not that it matters, now that all English clubs are out, lol. Boy, was that short-lived.
Yeah, lot of news came fast.

48 hours of madness, but without English sides this is dead.

Only question now is what consequences these twelve clubs may face. My guess is nothing, but I hope I am wrong.

Just saw this post. My husband loves soccer and he has got me watching it with him. He loves it, and played it for years. He has over 30 jerseys (easiest presents to buy for him ever - if it's wild and crazy, he will rock it).

This year, a group of us decided to prick a Premier League team to be fans of. My brother has been on the Liverpool train for a decade, my husband has followed Everton. I picked ManU, though I should have picked Man City since they have prettier kits. I need to pay attention to another sport like I need a hole in the head, but here I am. Though it does look like a BLAST to be at a live game and I'd like to go with my husband to match.

And yes, unless I'm watching a match I call it "soccer" because I love American football Not sure if anybody watches Ted Lasso, but that show makes me laugh how he didn't know any rules because that is still my life

I don't have a European side, but I do have sympathies for certain ones. I've been to Anfield, Goodison, and Old Trafford (as well as others). They are amazing stadiums and the buzz around them is great to take in.

Being in Delaware, I'm not sure if Philadelphia or DC are closer. I've been to both for away days and hope in the future to get more in (Portland, Toronto, and Austin being big ones).

I don't know much of anything about American Football. I call it football or soccer or calcio or what ever based on context. The beautiful game stretches across boundaries and languages.

Richmond AFC is a fictional club in London, in the borough of Richmond upon Thames. The closest real world club to them would be Crystal Palace (the club Richmond plays against in Lasso's first match at the helm).
