Yes very happy, great sculpt, impressive for sure. And with ECC, well you know the quality. Don't know how accurate it is, never seen the movie. The only thing it might need is a little paint tune up, touch up, not a repaint just some detailing.

i think the detail is there. It's just a bit shiny. needs a hit of dull coat.

Look up "pale man scene" and watch it. You can see the creature in the movie. He's in it for a short scene, but steals the scene. very intense. Great monster.

Here you go.

Ok. I tried a bunch of stuff with mine. I tried adding some black around the eyes, but I found that any bit of black just doesn’t work with the body. There’s no black. Even the pits of the nose and the inside of the mouth are dark red. I had to get some help from Jeffrey Davila to make it look decent again. We tried all different amounts of black, and then other colors. I definitely wanted it darker around the eyes. Besides the eyes, all I did was spray it with a clear matte finish. I like it a ton more now. Lighting is tricky with this because of the translucent resin.

I’ll try to get some more pics later. The matte finish took care of most of my issues. I only hired a painter to fix up the eyes a bit. (I botched it up while trying to “fix” it) I would try to spray it with the matte first to see if that’s good enough for you. I did two coats. I don’t usually get things painted, so I’m not sure what is considered expensive. I mean, it wasn’t cheap.

Specifically a matte coat (not quite flat), but he had to do some fixing around the eyes. I really botched things up. It was tricky to figure out the right combination of colors and intensity to get the look I wanted. There’s more going on below the eye too. With the original paint job nothing changed when you got closer to the eyeball.

Here are some closer shots. Keep in mind that lighting plays tricks on your eyes. Sometimes my lighting will cause a certain color/section to stand out, but the whole area is actually similar in color when you shine a light directly at it. Also, my photo site won’t let me upload anything over 3MB, so I had to lower the quality of the shots by emailing them to myself.

I wanted to highlight the hands/eyes a bit more, so I messed with the lighting a bit. I love the effect. I think it makes it look creepier.
