Penguin arrived yesterday. Just an amazing statue. So glad to finally add Penguin to my 1/4 Batman rogues collection. Hoping Riddler follows soon. NOTE: Statue arrived with one flaw. Handle of umbrella was broke and found in his coat. Seems like a clean break and should glue ok. Too bad it is part of the body rather than an easy replacement piece.

Umbrella handle broken off on mine. I wonder if they'll regret making that all one piece. I see there's a live unboxing out there and that person had the same deal.... I think they just thought it was supposed to come that way.

Did you just glue it back on? Did you report it to Sideshow?

It is a little silly to me they didn’t separate the handle and the tip of the umbrella. Those are the most likely to break in shipment and would have been cheaper to replace rather than what they need to do now and replace the whole body. Wonder what the logic there was.

Yeah with what these costs now even a small, easily repaired break is unacceptable. Even if it’s just to preserve resell value you should request a replacement. Or accept whatever discount they may try to offer if you’re really ok with it.
