I had a question for those who have already purchased and own moducases

How hard are they to assemble together? Based on some you tube videos, they look quite difficult and not that easy…. (This is for those who are not that good at self assembly :-)

I thought the first one I assembled was ridiculous, but after two, you'll have it down and being able to put them together no problem, IMO.

The same applies to the IKEA Detolf unit.
The instructions recommend two people for assembly.
I must have spent about an hour constructing my first Detolf (single handily).
By the time i reached Detolf unit no.6 i could assemble the unit faster than it takes to remove all the components from the packaging
..less than 10 minutes

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

Is it suggested to breakdown the moducases if moving to a new place or best to transport them while built?

yes, the custom / handling fees DHL declared for me is insanely high... add on another 416 euro on my 1647 euro order. Moducase set is great but hoping for a boat/train shipping in the future otherwise I'll stop buying from them. No ideas how much it normally costs in the local retailers though.

I paid import fees too. Not a huge problem tough as my options in France are still pretty limited.

Indeed couldn't find another good alternative so just got the Max 2103 wall. Paid about 1780 euros shipping included. Guess I will have to pay another 500 euros when it arrives
