Regular Akuma Statue Review

Hey everyone well its time to make my first review. There will only be a scale of 1 or 10 , nothing in between, I call it the Richter scale. HERE we go

1. When I received the item the box was crushed, at the top and at the bottom. Other than that, the packaging was great and it felt secured.
Package= 1

2. Opened up the box and my first words were dam!! this is awesome. Keep in mind that I saw it from behind. The certification of authencity was in mint as well.
First impression=10 Key word (first impression)

3. Once I opened the figure and looked at his face, i was not impress. The face looks good but its looks like plastic, its not as detail as the shin akuma. Also, i read that in other forums that the shin akuma was having problems with beads rubbin off his chest, well thats not the case here. Everything matches and there were no scratches what so ever.Please see pictures below. Also I would like to add that I am a face person, if it does not have that face then i am not satisfied.

4. The clothing is nearly perfect, however I dont know if its just me but its a light darkish blue. I would have prefered a simply black color. NEvertheless the lettering behind his clothing really stands out. It sometimes makes me wonder wehter i should pose him facing his back or what not. EVerything else though felt secured around the statue, no loose ends or strings hanging out.

5. Overall, the statue does not feel that it was worth the 240.00, for the shin akuma yes!! simply because they added more detail into the paint and his face. Now the question am I satisfied...well i'm a street fighter fan so im ok with it. I just kind of wish that I simply would have seen this statue in person.

anyone got any comparison pics between the regular & shin akumas?

BTW what's next to be released for this line?

The blue looks just like I thought it would. Why do you say the face looks plastic. From the pictures, it looks good to me.

Well, It does not look as detailed as the Shin Akuma. This is going to sound vague, but I think it will make sense what im about to say. On the Shin Akuma, you can practically see a shiny face out line. For example take the hair, the eyes, it completely stands out. The regular akuma does not have that glow or detail, to make it really stand out (kind of like having your detailed). I hope someone can post Shin Akuma pics to see the difference

Cant wait for mine!

The blue color is dead on to his player 1 outfit from the Alpha series to SF3 series. Which is by far my fav color for him.

All tho a nice read version would rock too!

oh i though i was the only face person here.If the face is screwed the rest of it i dont care about.Same goes for my choice in women too ehehehehehehhe!
