Well I mean of course it's going to be over 2k....it's 2 1/3 scale characters together. The going price of 1/3 scale P1 statues individually now tends to be in the $1,300'ish range so 2 of them together is definitely not going to be 2k, it's going to be more than that.

People SHOULD be selective.....as I've said 100 times here they're really freaking expensive statues of comic book characters. The people who were buying tons of statues at $500 is why they're now $700, and the same thing for when they were $800 and they're now $1,000, etc. It's honestly insane that something like this can even be made and have it sell enough to be profitable/make more of them.

I get a constant laugh out of all the people who are in the P1 section and infinitely complain about 1/3 scale, yet they have tons of 1/4, 1/5, etc scale statues. It all adds up to the same freaking thing. You can have 1 1/3 scale statue, or ~3 1/4 scale statues. If you prefer the quantity, that's fine. But as far as price/space goes, it all adds up to be pretty much the same thing. It's not P1's fault that the companies who have the smaller scale licenses don't make the stuff you want. They make big stuff, and I love that they do. I'll take 6 P1 statues over 15 Sideshow/XM statues ANY DAY.

The bigger price makes up for it.

They've been doing it in comics since the Silver Age. "Oh, it was all a misunderstanding or some sort of mind control. Now let's beat the crap out of the real bad guy together." Rinse and repeat.

But yeah, I agree.

Bane vs Batman is $1750, and Bane is larger than Superman. I'd be surprised if this is more than $1999.

I think it looks amazing. However, judging from the pics, the stand-alone DKR Supes looks a good bit larger than this guy.

I’m sure it’s way more than 1/4 scale, but I don’t quite buy into it being Prime 1’s premium 1/3 scale.

Agreed. Deep down, everyone knows that in the fictional world of comics, Batman continues to exist only because Superman continues to allow Batman to exist. He’d squish him like a bug without even trying.

They should make a diorama of Superman whooping everyone’s @$$ for a change.

If Superman used his heat vision, it would just be a big ol pile of ash.
