Same thing with the T-1000 as Sarah Connor. People were paying ridiculous money for them online last year and then a few weeks later Sideshow put them up for retail.

Because this will not be sold at SDCC only. They will be available in HK Ani-com, Singapore Toys and Comic Convention, and some other convention in Japan.
I wouldn't worry too much about missing out. Much like the infamous Guardian Predator, in the end, everyone who wants one will get one.

I just can't imagine a toy company trying to maximize profits on a very hot property such as Iron Man. Why wouldn't they sell as many as they can. I see this as selling out, prices start high on the bay, then dropping to initial retail, then eventually climbing back up...

personally i dun see this version of Iron man ever showed up in either IM1 or 2 movies. Plus the "grey suit mark iv" isnt the Stealth iron man either. So wats the point of owning this piece, unless u r just a mad fan of Iron man armor suits. If thats the case then u can buy it if u want to complete all armors out there.

For me a definite to buy is the Mark II unleashed version . tats a kick ass IM II armor, plus they showed it on IM2 movie.

i think HT decides to make this secret project version, cos people had been bragging about the "gunmetal IM armors"
