I'm very happy to see these project developed in 1/2 scale, with this kind of quality. A bold move and a step forward in this franchise. I cannot wait to see the prototypes.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

I don't like name plates or logos on the base like that. You either have to display it head on so it's facing straight forward or it looks funny if it's off to the side.

Looks pretty darn good but for me, if it is 1/2 scale or higher, it has to be almost perfect (especially with an actor likeness). Pass.

Looks good. Too bad these LOTR statues are 1/2 scale. No room for that. Instant buy at 1/4 or 1/3.

This piece looks great. Likeness is a little bit off though - wish they didn't add so much baggage underneath his eyes. Still most likely going to be an insta-preorder for me though, as this definitely beats P1's shield-riding pose.

I don't have any LOTR pieces in my collection, but Infinity are making it very temping. If I was going to jump in, I'd go Infinity over Prime.

Agreed - 100% without a doubt.

And I'd say, in my opinion, I don't need 100% likeness to be achieved. For some reason, I don't know why, but having the Legolas character is more important than having Orlando Bloom in my collection. It's as though the thing that sells the statue (at least to me) is the "hyper realism" of the "elf" portrait, and the overall character design.....

I'd apply the same thinking to Gandalf.

Sure this makes me an easy customer
