I have never read any X-Men with Magik in it so i am not fimiliar with the Character, but i only know her from forum posts where she is mentioned and pictures of her post on the forums.

Does Michelle Pfeiffer statue come with a masked swichable head ??? That would be so awesome.
Catwoman ships with 2 portraits. The one you see (on the previous page) and one wearing the cowl.
Catwoman ships with 3 cats. I decided to display 1 cat.

David (The Lost Boys)
1:6 Scale Figure by Sideshow Collectibles
No. NA

https://www.statueforum.com/showthread.php?t=173633

LOADING: Image(s)

Arrived today. Great looking figure!
Another figure to add to the horror themed line up

The out-of-the-box photo's were taken using a mix of room light and bedside lampshade light.

First impressions..
The weathered/aged box looks great!
On opening the box, i thought David's portrait looked on the small side.
In the 6hrs i have owned the figure, i guess the small portrait works well.
It has to be said, the portrait likeness looks excellent.
There is 2nd swap-out portrait that looks more Vampire. I prefer the normal portrait.
The jacket/coat fabric feels nice. The black trousers/pants are possibly pleather?
The spurs on the boots are made from actual metal which adds to quality.
The figure ships with a bottle, and a number of switch-out hands.
The base is typical Sideshow plain black. It does the job. The figure stands up well enough without a base.

PULP VIXENS - Deep Down
1:4 Scale Statue by Sideshow Collectibles
No. 185/500

https://www.statueforum.com/showthread.php?t=173884

LOADING: Image(s)

First Impressions..
Deep Down looks great!
The statue takes some putting together.
I watched the official Out Of The Box video by Sideshow Collectibles to help with the process.
As with Mr. Sin, Deep Down features dark shading on the paint work.
I would describe the paint work as Sideshow level. Pretty good, not XM Studios sharp.
The light-up features works well.
The sculpt looks amazing!
The base design is really something. I love the large metal (not actual metal) door.

Negatives..
I am working on attaching a mechanical piece with two wires.
It requires 3 metal pins to be inserted.
Thus far, i cannot for the life of me get all 3 pins in place. I will keep trying.

I have left one piece in the box, i believe it to be a piece of seaweed.
The idea is to insert the seaweed into the base via a metal pin.
The hole in the base and the pin are painted orange.
Too much paint in the hole. No bother, as i am not sold on the piece of seaweed. It can stay in the box.

The spear on the spear-gun is made from plastic.
Mine was in the box slightly bent. I have straightened it out.
It would have been so much better if the spear was made of actual metal.

Display..
I have plans to build a display box just for Deep Down and Mr. Sin, with one positioned above the other.
The idea is to paint the sides including the back black.
And light each piece with a single directional LED light.

More luck than judgement.
I switched the room lights off and made use of outside light, which was non too bright today.
The blue look simply happened.

Congratulations, the statue looks great.
The lighting of the base is harmonious with the overall picture.

Deep Down is a statue that has to be displayed against a dark backdrop.
Displaying Deep Down in a bright display will not work, mainly because of the shading concept on the piece.

SILENT HILL 2 - Bubble Head Nurse (Reg Edition)
1:5 Scale Statue by First4Figures
No. 079/-

https://www.statueforum.com/showthread.php?t=173541

LOADING: Image(s)

Picked up the Nurse to pair with Pyramid Thing. I call it Pyramid Head?

Took these out of the box shots. Used the torch on the phone to add lighting.
On the subject of the box, it is about 50% smaller compared to the massive box Pyramid Thing ships in.

All in all, a decent 1:5 scale statue.
From what i could gather, the metal mesh located along the rear of the base has to be bent into shape by the user,
as it shipped flatten / squashed down somewhat?
..the black paint flakes off of the silver mesh. I guess it adds to broken look of the environment
