This statue is not getting praise because people seem to like to criticize PCS.

It's a great looking statue. But yeah the base scenes are not needed. Save them for the Fine Art Bust.

On their own the scenes do look great, but while looking at the statue, the scene at the base front is a distraction.

I dislike it too. It's artistically muddled.

Yeah base scene for sure gots to go. Does not work on this and is not needed. Otherwise its a buy for me if the price is reasonable.

Sometimes less is more and in this case its a perfect example.

Prototype looks absolutely amazing. I will praise it when the final product's paint won't look like poop and won't have QC problems all over the place. These sadly seem to be common issues with PCS.

And for good reason my friend. I want them to succeed but they have way too many problems as of right now.

Of course the final product will not look like this Emperor. Is this all resin or mixed Media? Because if Mixed Media whew boy is this in for a downgrade.

PCS has the same problems as all other statue producers. Even Prime 1, Queen Studios even Sideshow has statues that come up short as to what was advertised. Not all PCS statues have that problem. PCS turns in a Chun-li that looks EXACTLY as advertised and people that bought it whine that it looks too simple and lack detail?
Were they going to make it more detailed than the proto???

Sideshow sends out this Superman but then people chastise me when I point out the new Loki everyone is fawning over will not come in as advertised.

The better painted the proto, the less chance what is in hand will resemble it.
Robocop, Terminator, and Predators are hard, really hard with Preds at the top obviously. That 1/2 Infinity Studio Robo is due for some downgrade too. Movie pieces in general are too tough for Chinese factories to want to do and this will be no different. But it is a top effort. I doubted PCS could even swing protos at this level. Happy to be wrong.

Most of the say 150 statues or so I have owned from 05 were pretty great from any company, yes a few duds, but not many
I THINK most companies do great work
Yes statues can't be as great as a proto.
THAT SUCKs.

anyone ask Ant about making an extra base. I like it myself

This is true but in my experience is that PCS cannot do complex paint like Prime 1 or Blitzway. Their actual product is a lot worse compared to the prototye. Also isn't Chun-Li a very simplistic statue by defalult at the paint department? I don't think it shows anything significant because of that (paint). I hope they can improve because they are going into the more premium territory with their silicone and alien and predator pieces. The expectations are already very high with those two licenses.

Wasn't Pumpkinhead PCS's first time they claimed to be upping their paint quality? How did that turn out in hand with collectors?
