The Batman (2022)

The actors cast as Batman and Catwoman didn't look quite right to me, but everything else about the movie was very good. 7.5/10

Creed III - 7/10
Great entry to the series, but no Rocky. Jordan shines as the same character he is in every single movie ever. Majors was great.

Living (2022) - In 1950s London, a humorless civil servant decides to take time off work to experience life after receiving a grim diagnosis.

I didn't expect to like this remake of Kurosawa's Ikiru as much as I did. Production did a very nice job recreating London of the 50s and Bill Nighy's acting is exceptional. 8/10

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022)
6.7/10

2hrs and 40mins
If i am honest, i only really enjoyed the final 30 minutes.

The 1st hour is slow, boring, although there is a good slow-mo explosion. I liked the intro Marvel logo sequence.
The 2nd hour isn't much better than the 1st hour. It is slightly more interesting, but only slightly.

The sight of someone holding a spear and flying through the sky failed to make sense?
..i assume this is in the comic?

(this is not a spoiler) there is a character who wears an Ironman style suit. It reminded me of Capcom's Mega Man

I think the original Black Panther movie is the better of the two.

The Whale (2022) - A reclusive, morbidly obese English teacher attempts to reconnect with his estranged teenage daughter.

I can't remember the last time I watched a movie in a theater without seeing any promo trailers for it at all beforehand--strange. The only thing I knew about it going in is that Brendan Fraser wears a fat suit. Reading reviews afterward, while I don't think the movie is as bad as most say, I do agree that the acting performances are what makes it worth watching at least once. 7/10

I actually like the design of the Ironheart suit, the dark face with the blue lit eyes is a cool look.

I liked all of the MCU projects to some degree--even the worst of them, Iron Man 2 and Thor: Love and Thunder, but I can't say the same about this movie. It felt very generic and bland with all the computer-generated backgrounds and assorted strange-looking characters. It reminded me of Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets. 5/10
We agree Paris. I also gave this movie a five. Pretty much hated it. Even Kang couldn?t save it. I also give this movie the finger

Puss and Boots the Last Wish- 8/10. Normally not really into the Shrek franchise, but I loved this movie. Definitely was smart on multiple levels and I could see myself watching it again.

Apparently, the moviegoing public agrees with you both. Financially, it appears this movie is upside down (and Ant-Man & The Wasp are a “bankrupt enterprise”) and headed for a major loss for Disney:
