This was massively more popular than i ever thought it would be.

Im still going through emails stamped at 5:00 and Im already up to 217 unique email addresses.

There are still at least 200 more emails to sort through and they keep coming in.

It starting to feel a bit unfair to leave soooo many people out.

What are your thoughts on changing the ES to 149 ? Just to let a few more collectors in.

Thats still going to be a couple hundred short of the number who wanted it.

Is there a huge difference in everyones eyes between 99 and 149 ?

Would anyone want to cancel because of that ?

Also...if we DID (not saying we are yet) change the ES to 149 I would add a new 'tongue' to the Reptile head as a bonus

I think you are right....I was testing my connection and sending out emails to myself....around 5 emails.

They vary from instatenous to 5 sec delay by the time I actually get them.

I think it all end up in lady luck's hand.

Sounds like conversion messed up but it was allways 280.00 with option C which is a $50 discount off retail which is $330, at 280 for a 1/4 rare statue is an amazing deal if you ask me!

The Reptile statue was sold out at launch yesterday (5pm PST), and I think the waitlist is long too? You might be able to join the waitlist if you send PCS an e-mail (look at their website for info). Hope this helps!

While it's the smart move to wait for flippers, I'm kind of surprised that there have been ZERO preorder flippers. There's usually one or two that capitalize on the initial fear on a sellout like this, and there have been none.

I haven't gotten one either but was told through e-mail they found my payment. I had some issues because my paypal account is my wife's and it's different from my order e-mail. I hope everything is fine and will assume it is based upon them saying they located my payment.

Honestly, this system sounds like a headache to try and organize for Jerry. I wonder why he didn't mention in the listing page on his site that everyone's PayPal email must match their order email? I think he's spending more time just trying to organize everything that people who are waiting on order confirmations get stuck in limbo for a bit. Which leads to people who sent payments wonder if their order is even confirmed or secure.

I think the system could use a little refining. But Jerry is a one man show with all this, so a little patience and understanding I think are required.

One of the cancellations was mine... but was done to be fair to other collectors. I didn't know which e-mail (yahoo / gmail) or system would send faster so sent from each. Both made the 150 list. Paid in full for the first and told Jerry I had mine so he could make someone else very happy with the second.

Jerry, you can give it to Atheris to protect the integrity of the LIST!

Well tonight is the cut-off for payments, so if anyone doesnt pay by tonight there will be some waitlist conversions, hopefully you get some good news tomorrow!

Their all different people, from different IP's, different emails, different names and different paypal accounts. As far as Jerry is concerned...their not the same person. However the secured pieces are all being rounded up by one individual which will in turn flip them. Their are a few decent members here that are honest and admit to getting more than one, and out of fairness cancelled so another collector may have the chance to get one. Others however "I know" are staying silent. I'm sure if Jerry found out a "particular" person secured 3x pieces he would be cancelling those orders.

Also somewhat suspicious is some of the people on that list became members the same day of the PO :peoples:

I don't think its a coincidence that 43% of the 150 pieces sold are secured by members of this forum. If Jerry stuck with the original ES of 99 that would be adjusted to 66% instead. Kinda makes you wonder doesn't it.

I don't think its a coincidence that 43% of the 150 pieces sold are secured by members of this forum. If Jerry stuck with the original ES of 99 that would be adjusted to 66% instead. Kinda makes you wonder doesn't it.

Yeah, no way to get around people who bring their friends/family into it to secure extras for them. But I meant for the people that sent multiple emails from their own accounts (just trying different ISPs in case say gmail was faster on the draw than yahoo)...even if they beat the IP check they would have no way to buy a multiple off their same PP account. The only people buying multiples would be people like you mentioned who brought family/friends into the mix.

I don't see how they could even if they wanted to. Looks like people got past the IP address check but wouldn't multiple payments from the same PayPal address stick out?

Im doing my best and when i find duplicates I send them an email to say one of their orders is being canceled.

But as long as people have friends with paypal accounts they will be able to get more than one and Ill never know.

It'd be nice if people were considerate enough to only get one for their collection instead of trying to get 2 or 3 so they can further their own greedy ends by flipping it, and deprive someone else who genuinely wants one for their own collection
