True. And it seems like most comic book characters with red hair have green eyes. DC may just be switching her eyes to green to go with the flow. I suppose people could get Archer transfers to switch her eyes to green. It's surprisingly easy to do. I did it with the first Sideshow Catwoman PF because they made her eyes blue instead of green.

We are on the cusp of either moving (If she finds the right house) or doing custom shelving (if we stay put). The intercom system is awesome looking. I have thought about taking it out and getting the radio to work. It has vacuum tubes on it and not quite sure where to even start. I am actually worried if we sell the house the next person might take it out. It's been there since the late 50s when the house was built. It caught my eye immediately when we first looked at the house. It reminds me of some of the gadgets in the Batman 66 Batcave. There are other intercom panels in the house but they are all boring looking and silver, or painted over.

I can just imagine it in the Wayne Manor....would fit right in.

it absolutely has the appearance of something in Wayne manor from the bats series. Love it and you're probably right, another person will rip it out.

Well I got Batgirl today and I could not like it anymore. It is a perfect Batgirl statue and she does look like she stepped right off the comic book pages.

I did have one issue and that was getting her into the base. The statue I got did not slide in easily. I had to sit it on a table and wiggle it in and it still did not go in the whole way. Now the statue is secure but about 1/3 of the piece underneath the boot that has the post on it did not go in the whole way. It is not noticeable at all and does not detract in any way when displaying the statue but out of the 7 SuperPowers statues that I own 3 had that problem with me (Catwoman, Robin and Batgirl). I know some people said they had an issue with Batman but mine was fine. I know that this can happen but I do not know if this is par for the course or is there a Quality Control issue happening.

Well, I still love this statue and another fantastic job by Tweeterhead.

However, I have to say I'm royally pissed off right now. One of the fins on her glove was broken off and the factory sloppily glued it back on and then packaged it up like it was no big deal.

If they don't have a replacement body that is free of breakages and re-gluing, then this is going back and I might be done buying Tweeterhead pieces. Seriously, who the ---- does that?

Damaged arm aside, the statue is otherwise gorgeous. Great body sculpt and very pretty face. As long as I can get a replacement, I'll keep this one and sell the OG Sideshow PF.

I felt the same. The BW is about perfect, but their Batgirls just kept missing the mark for me. However, Tweeterhead's Batgirl was perfect, and I had to have her Too bad it's not 1/4 scale.

I didn't have any 1/6 when I ordered Batgirl, and now I have 4 with 2 more PO'd. And always looking for a Joker. I think they're my preferred scale now.

I have 4 1/4 with 4 PO'd, but their release pace is going to be much slower. XM moving to DC 1/4 helps, but their reveal lineup only has duplicates for me, so they won't hit a new character that I'm interested in for a few years. Maybe Reverse Flash.

I would definitely keep emailing them and if you are on Facebook go onto the Facebook pages and ask about it because I can’t understand why I would take seven months for something to still be processing. You're fine. For a short period of time, Tweeterhead offered the EX through other distributors. They called it a "special edition", which is why it says SPE on your shipper box. So, 250 were sold through Tweeterhead, and 135 were sold through distributors.

There were 385 exclusive Batgirls with identical parts. 250 sold through Tweeterhead, 135 sold through distributors.

That I don't know, but the SPE on the shipper is the telltale sign.

My Robin shipper box does have SPE on it and it says the statue is 63/78 but the base of the statue says 63/80. So Robin must have had some sold to retailers as well.

Even though Batgirl isn’t part of the 2.0 line, it’s still one heck of a sculpt. I think the idea of a “Bat-Family” is ridiculous but when a company can make me like a sculpt of one of those characters, they are doing a lot of things right.

Sorry for resuscitating a dead thread but I have some newbie questions...

So I just got back into statue collecting after a very long time away and am starting a new collection from scratch. I've pre-ordered Tweeterhead's 2021 version of Harley Quinn and the greeen-variant 2021 Poison Ivy, and as I'm focusing on female statues, I'm considering the Super Powers Batgirl as well. But the Batgirl, though it looks great, doesn't have the same level of detail, especially in the face sculpt. Apparently Tweeterhead has new sculptors now and the statues, like Harley and Ivy, that are part of their 2.0 line reflect this. What are the odds that Tweeterhead does a Batgirl 2.0 re-release? Sorry for resuscitating a dead thread but I have some newbie questions...

So I just got back into statue collecting after a very long time away and am starting a new collection from scratch. I've pre-ordered Tweeterhead's 2021 version of Harley Quinn and the greeen-variant 2021 Poison Ivy, and as I'm focusing on female statues, I'm considering the Super Powers Batgirl as well. But the Batgirl, though it looks great, doesn't have the same level of detail, especially in the face sculpt. Apparently Tweeterhead has new sculptors now and the statues, like Harley and Ivy, that are part of their 2.0 line reflect this. What are the odds that Tweeterhead does a Batgirl 2.0 re-release? I would think the possibility is high...I'd be surprised if we don't see one, but could be a while if we do. The SP Batgirl isn't too expensive from what I'm seeing on ebay...if you're willing I suggest picking that one up and waiting to see if TH releases a 2.0 version. If you like the 2.0 better then sell the SP. As for news...the newsletter/facebook groups (Tweeterhead Collectors Group, Tweeterhead Fans, the official page)/forums. A link to the newsletter sign up...https://tweeterhead.com/newsletter/. I don't know if there's an official place to make suggestions, but I'd probably leave them in one of the groups/on here in the "ask tweeterhead" thread/through "Contact" on their website.
