I was wondering what grain of sand paper works best on cured Sculpty. I've used several different grains and they seem to leave scratches all over. Little help?

most people I know use a dremel that comes with 2-4 sanding drums...I don't get scratches. :)

with sanding you start with a rougher grits to knock off the high points so to speak. this will leave scratches. you then sand over this with finer and finer sandpaper unitl the scratches disapear. I start with a 60-120 grit depending on what I'm doing and go up to a 500-600 or higher depending on the look required.

dremel has sanding drums of different grits as well.

if you ever sand plexi. you will start with about a 1000 and go up to a 4000 or 6000 grit. that is how we restored old convertable plexi windows from the day.
