That's my favorite as well, with Catwoman right behind her.

I find this one kind of a letdown, as I really expected Hughes to have a lot more fun with a character who's known for her upper deck

The attached picture looks a lot better than the first one. For some reason, the head doesn't look like it fits on the bust in that first one. I like it though but that's mainly because I love Powergirl and am just happy she's finally getting a statue/mb treatment!

There's a couple of things that jump out at ya at first.

But once one get's past the initail shock of the sculpt.

Eeehh,.......For her character to do all pin-uppy girl,kinda fits. I have no intrest in 'pin-up' girl scuplts of superheros.

I think they need to release a more serious take-line.

But she's winking in this picture, right? The sculpt on isn't winking, she's got both eye's open, but one's askew, and there's something weird going on with her tounge. I'm a fan of Hughe's sketches and like the playfullness of the pose so I'll likely get it, but I wish it were truer to the illustration.

Adam. DC has changed or rejected nearly every sketch
he has submitted, unlike the first series where nearly
every bust got through un-editted. That Powergirl
bust? NOT Adam's design. They opted instead of his
design, to use his sketch cover imager from the
Justice Society Secret files issue. Adam has had to
re-draw Batgirl 3 times; the first two were rejected.
I don't even think the third image has been submitted;
so there may or may not be a Batgirl. EVERY submission
has been like that for the second series. So we
haven't a clue what will happen at this stage, or who
will be included.

I have plans, should I get the time, to have a new
page on the website of the sculptures and their
corrolating sketches Adam provided; should be
interesting....

What a poor choice of pose and base.

The only bust that is good in this line is Harley, which is absolutely spot on.

Base makes sense, pose captures her perfectly, expression is pure Harley.

Power Girl always seemed to be treated like a joke character in the DCU, this bust pretty much confirms it.

I really liked the sketch with the "my eyes are up here" pose, this seems a bit too happy for Power Girl... I'll probably still pick it up tho', I go back to All Star #57 as being a fan of her (Wally Wood did a nice PG too, although she's more PG-13 :laugh: )...

I think alot of folks just have a problem with the boobs.

Guys, Thor has long hair, Bruce Wayne is loaded, and Power Girl has a big rack. It's always been that way, it will always be that way...get over it.

I can't believe the submissions could be that bad, either some exec is making himself feel validated or there are production concerns with the poses.

This whole line just seems like a lost opportunity. Yep,they're small and overpriced. But beyond that there is just no real consistency in the line. Hopefully there will be a decent DC line down the road, but I think it will have to come through PCs.

All three of these sculpture concepts have been
rejected by DC, much to Adam's chagrine. They all
really were GREAT ideas, but as stated in the panel
discussion, some eidtors can be tough to work with.
