NYC based toy studio Xomer Studios inc. is looking for sculptors and 3-d modelers to work on toy properties.
Sculptors
We develope products for some of the largest toy companies and the most exciting properties around. Genres include realistic sci fi characters, cartoony animated characters and trendy urban design pieces. Most pieces will need to be finished in the hard finishing wax (hasbro , barbie, azbro waxes etc...) We prefer sculptors to be in the NYC area and will only work with someone from out of the area that has a good amount of experience.
3-d modelers
We are looking for modelers for toys and other products (ID, furniture, fine art etc...) Modelers can work in their prefered software but must be able to output the models for 3-d printing (stl, obj are the most versatile) Models need to be seamless meshes if printing solid or need to be cored models for hollow pieces. We prefer local talent but will work with out of town vendors if sufficiently experienced.
Pay varies per project, and are comparable rates. Budgets for projects will be decided upon before the project begins.
