hey there speed! how's P.I.? God I miss manila. I'm soooo bored here in WA. Plus there's no nanny so I'm hands on with my son. LOL. All good though...were really bonding. Cant wait for wednesday for new shipments to come in the LCS near my place. :buttrock:

Yep..sometimes specially when my wife is mad at me I think about bunking in there..there's airconditioning and a bathroom so Im all set..all I need is a folding bed LOL. If you're wondering why there's a bathroom in the showroom its coz it used to be my game room.

Great looking collection. I especially like the uncluttered look of it -- most pieces can be seen easily -- they're not blocked by others. But the best part are the shelves -- I prefer wood over glass and steel. You could charge admission! Congrats.

2 Questions
1. Your display cases are they custom made, where did you get them?

2. Who made that unmasked Vader Bust?

I am working on my room but have a long ways to go.

Thanks for the compliments! Yeah the wood shelves are custom made..got my moms interior designer to do it for me. As for the cab with glass doors (the ones where I displayed my mini busts and koto's on top), I got them from a furniture store on sale..maybe around $95 each.

As for the Unmasked 1:1 Darth Vader Bust its by Illusive Concepts. The same company that made the life size Han in Carbonate prop and Jabba prop. The company closed a long time ago. The piece is suppose to be limited to 9500 pcs but it is rumored that only 500 pcs were produced due to budget issues. it usually goes for $1500- $2000 on ebay..if you find one in perfect condition complete with box and certificate of authenticity. Got mine complete and in excellent condition over ebay minus shipping. Got my dad to pick it up for me in a near by city LOL!:)

My favorite piece? Well sentimental value wise..my Superman VS Machine because its the statue that started my collection...my wife gave it to me as a present for my bday 3 years ago.

Overall my most fave piece will have to be the vader bust and the attakus jabba set..and the GG life size yoda.:)

You're right man..I'm planning to put more cabinets in the middle..similar to the size of the cab where the GG mini busts are..to accomodate my HP,LOTR,Terminator busts.

I hate seeing my collection messed up. I want to be able to appreciate each and every piece and give all of em the attention they deserve..I mean it is a big investment. Might as well display them neatly or at least organized by movie/company/etc.

Oh..I think its more expensive that way. Besides my forwarder is pretty cheap compared to others..$65 for a large box (to fellow filipinos the box Im referring to are the balikbayan size boxes) Basically a little smaller than the Hulk PF box. I think that's as cheap as it gets...Price I have to pay to display all my stuff in one place.

Hello dannybe! I'll be shipping most if not all my stuff back soon..when I'm not too lazy. I still like to display some of my fave pieces around the house for now. =)

What forwarder do you use btw? Are they good in handling your stats any special packaging or do you tell them how to handle your stuff differently during shipment?

I use MJB shipping. Owned by a fellow Filipino. I pack them my self then I just tell them to load my stuff last so its not below the other shipments he has..I've been a customer for two years now and not a single damage to all my shipments..it takes almost a month for my stuff to get to Manila though. Oh and they are based here in WA so when I call them to pick up my stuff they come right away. They dont even charge me extra whenever my boxes exceed the normal size.

For example; when I had my illusive concepts life size vader bust shipped..its box was huge!!! like three or four PF hulk boxes combined. He only charged me $65 for that. The catch is whenever I ship my stuff my family has some stuff as well so basically he gives me a very good discount because of the huge volume we ship.

the only statue i got is the water one on the way, but on ebay a couple of days ago i think i saw the 10th anniv statue of dawn. hopefully ill get my dawn statue tommorow........erhhhhhhhhhh need to have it!!!!!!!!....lol.

There was a 10th aniv statue of dawn lately? huh..I didnt notice. I was checking like everyday..there is a silver edition though..I just want to get my hand on a colored version for now.

Well its not a theater projector with alot of seats if that's what you're thinking. It's just a room with a faily big TV a couple of sofas and sound system. And I just display some of my new statues there for the duration of my stay.

Wow, your collection has grown alot since you first posted pics! :buttrock: But how dare you not have Grey Hulk vs Spidey or Classic Spidey PF hahaha! I love the set-up of the three Sentinels, the Bowen DD/Black Widow/Electra, the Batman B&Ws, and the FF vs Dr Doom! I'm so jealous, my collection starts with Attakus Vader I and yours is falling off the edge of the shelf. :laugh: Great collection room.

It's the Aspen Mathews Bust. I believe it's limited to 500 pcs only. There are two more variants, Gold version and clear version. I forgot who sculpted it. But I dont think it's Dene.

it's scultped by Grace Crick. came in a painted, clear and bronze patina.

i have the painted and clear and the clear is probably one mof my favorite bust'

Just wanted to share what I did to the control art that came with the exclusive emma. I'm gonna do the same with the control art that came with the MJ. (actually it was my wife who had it framed hehehe)

Thanks dude! I'm trying to talk my family into giving me another room to convert into a showroom hahaha. My big scale (cant call it life size) Balrog head by gentle giant arrived already. I need space for her. By the way I don't have it in hand yet but I saw it displayed in my suppliers booth in a mini toy con today. Paid for and just waiting for the busy season to be over and my Balrog will be spreading evil,shadow and flame at my place!:buttrock: Be posting pics when I have her displayed and ready. Yeah my wife is complaining as well..but all we gotta do is buy them something too when we get something. Give and take.

example: you buy a cinemaquette = she gets an LV bag (expensive but you know she won't say a thing about your purchase! LOL!)

I gotta love Howard S' Crow bust! ..and I kinda find the Terminator bust a little small. I mean in person the Scarface bust looks bigger than the T-800.

Yeah I guess..I started collecting 5-6 years ago..it hasn't been easy to acquire everything I have now..had to save,save,save,work,work,work,wait,wait and wait.
