has anyone tried or has good results using an hair dryer on sculpy? Not for huge chunks of course but thin layers?

I tried it with a 3" piece using the pink sculpey. It turned hard but not as hard as when I boiled similar sculpts. I also use heat gun which is faster than a blow dryer. Ironically, I haven't baked any sculpey pieces yet :D I'll try to see if I still have some pictures of it.

I as well have had experience using the heat gun. I mainly just lightly cook the part I'm working on so I don't mess it up then give the whole piece a good baking to harden it all.

Will take you forever with the hairdryer. Heat gun would do the trick and it is only around $30.00
