Ok so my Girlfriend is all around artistic...
She wants to take a stab at statues..

So can you guys give me a list of everything she could need to know to get started...

She needs to know what kind of paints to Use..
That Kind of tools she Needs..
What to Sculpt with..

Im giving her a couple of broken Statues i have to start out with just to see if she can repair them...
I really dont care what happens to them...
Is this a good thing to try to start with??

I need as much info as possible..
The more the better..
The More Detailed the Better...

If you think it would be to much to post feel free to email me your lists at Staticheartlie@aol.com

And the more different opinions i get the better..
I want to hear from everyone that sculpts...
And if you can make them easy to print and give to her it would be helpful...

So please help me out here..

thanks...

Crawler, you should really check out the clubhouse at, http://www.theclubhouse1.net/forums/viewforum.php?f=9 for added info. And I think alot of ppl here would agree, Super Sculpey would be a good way to start, and even better, check out the new Gray Sculpting Compound at www.midwestclay.com, very nice stuff to work with, comes in regular and firm. Most of us work in the firm grade.

As for tools, most starter kits you find work well and after that you'll start to figure out what you really need and make your own tools. As for paints well you'll need some paintmaster around here to help you out with that.

She needs to be good with her hands. Especially once it starts to get hard. (clay). :banghead:
