A thank you, an introduction and a few questions.
First, let me say thank you to d rod helping me join the forum. Im new to this board and been wanting to voice my opinion on whatever is being discussed. I have been hooked on statues for about a year now and can not seem to stop this hobbie. Everytime I see a niece piece, I must have it. I also know your rules...without a pic you got s!@*. I do not have much compared to others but it will grow. My next statue would be PF Docter Doom from SS. Knowing the cost, would this be worth it? Would you buy something that is worth that much? Will the price ever go down? Alright, thanks guys lemme know waht you think. And now my statues...

Cool stuff, Nemesis! Welcome aboard, if I haven't already welcomed you. I especially like the two Vs. dioramas, and I see you have a Cleary Spider-Man on the top shelf! I need to get one of those myself!
As for the SS Doom PF, whew, that's expensive now. I bought my exclusive last July for $580, which I then thought was a lot. What did I know??? It was only the second statue I had ever bought (the first being the SS Hulk vs. Spidey dio). Well, I'm glad I took the plunge when I did! When I ask myself if I would do the same thing today at today's prices, hmmm, that's a tough one. Granted, it is the best thing I own and I never, ever see myself selling it. I've never seen a better looking statue based on a comic book character. But $1,200. Hmm, that would buy a lot of cool (but much less impressive) statues.
So, to answer your question, I don't think I'll ever pay more than $600 for a statue. That's only because I already have the Doom PF and X-Men vs. Sentinel diorama. But if you buy a Doom for a grand, I guarantee that you won't regret it.
Jeez, I danced from one side of the fence the other, didn't I.

Welcome to the forum.
Just a few points,
1. Remember, the mods are your friends. They are seldom wrong, but you can never disagree with them.
2, You will collect 200% more due to being on the forum. You can fight it, but this will happen.
3. Beware of the one called Coca.
Nice collection, bit of everything.
