A this pointg I would not do a "re-do", based on her response it's likely she won't be pleased, and you're in deeper. While I would never ask for a refund, (and I have some commisions that I am not happy with), if someone does, it's totally up to the artist, the work is done. I figure if I'm asking for a piece it can be a roll of the dice on what you get. What I think would be "fair" is to place on ebay and if there is any loss taken on the piece (including listing, shipping and a bit for your time) that should be on her end, any gain (above what was paid for the piece) is your gain. Many retailers have re-stocking fee's for special orders, why should this be different?
On another note $80 for a painted piece is a deal, where can I get in that line? While I have no idea who those characters are, the work is fantastic!
Good luck, keep us posted.
