UD is producing a Series 2 of the Marvel Masterpieces cards. As usual with UD, there is going to be a price increase . I'll post more info as soon as I get it from my distributor.

Why? These are making the card sets of the 90's look like Mona Lisa's.

My solicitation for MM 08' came last week.....Price per box, is $76.00 I just don't know if I can bring myself to pay that much for this product. Overall, I am very happy with what I see. Even though it is primarily recycled art, (a subject John and I still disagree on) it is art that for the most part has been used in the Vs sets (and/or gaming cards, which is usually so cropped up you only get a portion of the image, so we are getting more of the art and I reluctanly admit that collectively it looks nice, however it is lackluster in quality to the MM that we have come to know and love. I just hope that newcomers don't find enough interest in these newer sets to actually pursue them in the same fashion.
