Need help making a stencil for a Mighty Mugg
Okay....here's my situation.
I discovered a thread in the Bowen section about a group that does custom chroming commissions. Anyway, I figured I'd send a Silver Surfer Mighty Mugg their way and see if I can get it chromed.
So I just scored a Silver Surfer to do this job. However, the paint apps are going to get covered with chrome.
I was wondering: can anybody make me a mockup/template that I could use for re-painting the details?
You know how they make stencils with designs on them? Kinda like a jack-o-lantern stencil. Needless to say, I was hoping someone could make a mugg-sized silver surfer stencil that I could send to the chromers, so that they can spray on the face and other details. I think that's all you really need to preserve the look and feel of a Mighty Mugg that has been chromed.
What do you guys think? Anybody willing to put something together with the Surfer's detail, along with a detailed grid of what should be what color.
I know it's kinda confusing to explain. I just hope somebody can help me. Thanks guys!
Here's a quick pic....thanks in advance guys!

Is it worth paying $100.00 to chrome a mighty mugg?

It would be easy just to buy some tracing paper and trace the face out and then transfer it over to a regular sheet of papaer and cut it out.

A chrome Mighty Mugg would be HELLA sweet! I'm really interested in doing it. I don't do many customs, but I think it'd be neat.
I could still use a hand in making a stencil. I'm not sure how accurate a paper trace might be if I did it.

Does anybody have a scanner that they could scan in a high-quality image of the Surfer Mighty Mugg box from the front and side profile? I figure I'll piece it together and make the stencil from that. Thanks in advance gang!

If it's Gary from creation 'n' chrome your referring too then I'm sure he'll be happy to paint the shading for you by referring to the graphics already present. Have you asked?

Yes. I spoke with Kristin actually. She told me I need a graphic that they can use to make a stencil. She said it needs to be the same size as the mugg OR bigger. I think the best way to make a stencil would be to scan in the front and sides of the box, combine the images with photoshop or paintshop pro, and then make a stencil from that. My only problem is that I don't have a scanner. XD
