[QUOTE=speedy485;2337774"B" is silly because Ryu never has and probably never will do air fireballs.
[/QUOTE]
You're not the first person to mention this, but I'm almost certain that I pulled off a Ryu air fireball.
It's been awhile, but I think he did this in Marvel vs. Capcom 2. We are talking video games right?

Just about everyone does air fireballs/projectiles in those crazy non standard SF series games like Marvel vs, X-Men vs. But in the standard Street Fighter game, Ryu doesn't shoot air fireballs. Now there was some of those illegally tuned Street Fighter games which allowed for it but that wasn't an official release.

Ryu can only pull off Air Fire balls in VS series. He could never do it in any other game. Only other game it was possible was a SF2 super turbo i think. The one they made everything crazy in and to fast. More or less a hacked SF2.
Alpha series he was more grounded same as in SF3 series.
Evil Ryu can if i am not mistaken, cause he mimics Akumas powers. But i rarely play Evil Ryu.
So yes only in X-men Vs SF, Marvel VS SF, Capcom VS Marvel 1, 2 he could. But those are more "What If" of the mythos to SF. Regular SF games are set in stone to powers and abilities.
Least what i remember from the games, if someones got some proof that he can do it in the air let me know. I got every SF at home and will try it out.

If memory serves me right, Ryu doesn't have an air hadouken (fireball) only in the marvel/capcom/x-men VS series. Only as Evil Ryu but then again that character's an Akuma carbon copy. He does have the super hadouken though..

I'm just responding to people saying Ryu "never" threw air fireballs. The answer is that he did and it happened in official Capcom games featuring the Street Fighter characters and even name.
