wow! i totally appreciate your work. very expressive! it hits home with me since you know i have a daughter too. btw, that's awesome you remembered her name! you should start a new thread here with these shots. this section isn't all about statues.

TNX but I don't think people would get into it much.
Besides I have hundreds of photos, which ones to choose and I noticed you mentioned you like wide angle shots so I'll post some of those if you wish.
P.S. Kids are my thing now so I never forget their names, adults yes but kids never

Thanks to Ed for the input and other options to look at and Upitnik for the 1.4 endorsement and the fantastic photos. I wasn't aware of an AF issue but I'll watch for it if I buy.

I'd give you a more detailed advice but you didn't state for kind of use you need it, which camera you have or will buy and which lenses you have so far.
There is much more to it.

the cannon primes are very good in low light..=)
but when you want a zoom..=)
try the 16 - 35 and the 24 -70 of cannon these are very very niice
=)
