I dunno what the laws are in florida, but here in ohio, if you mislead or BS 911 you get jail time

The person who called 911 obviously was viewing this as a theft, so I can (sort of) understand her frame of mind.
911 is for emergencies only.
I'm sure if she had called another non-emergency number for the police she would have been better served.
Why was it impossible to refund her money in the first place? Seems strange.

it wasnt. the mcdonalds pr person said that it should have been refunded. this is poor training by the manager or a worthless employee
