Sandable Primer / Primer Sealer

What's the difference?

I went to my local auto parts store today to buy my usual Dupli-Color Sandable Primer, but they were out (it's a little store), but I noticed they had Duplicolor Primer SEALER ... is there a difference between Sandable Primer and Primer Sealer?

No, they just call it something else to F with your head.

Hey Jessie,

Primer Sealer is basically a product that you spray over
primer to help seal it. Some people find that Primer
soaks in too much paint and leaves the paint looks
gaunt/dry/or dull. A primer sealer (mainly used to
seal primers when you are applying a gloss coat finish)
if to help the paint lay onto the surface more.

But unless you are doing things like cars, airplanes
etc...type models or or needing a super high glossy
sheen, you may never need it.
