Have you ever imagined a world with no hypothetical situations?

It shows. One of the worst season finales ever.

spoilers below

just watched the season finale, and gotta say while the season was one of the best, the finale was one of the worst.

Where to start?

Jimmy dying was a bad choice. suddenly giving him a first name was a cop-out
the supes/doomsday battle(what there was) was terrible the show should have ended with both of them dying. Brilliant cliffhanger!
Where were Cyborg and Aquaman?

Good points?

Tess and Lois fight. Shame there was no mud pitt
Lois traveling in time
Chloe's new HQ. Nice nod to Babs

Yes, the ending was terrible. Looked like it was slapped together at the last minute.

Since Clark is in Metropolis most of the time, are they going to change the name of the series to "Metropolis" for the final season? Seriously though, it's time for Clark to quit being a half powered to 3/4 powered Superman, and become Superman. Enough of the unsure of himself angles, etc. I've also had enough of every Kryptonian related character "knowing" how to use their powers better than him, and kicking the crap out of him. Especially the flying thing. It's time to fly!!!!

Metallo would actually be a very dangerous villain for Superman in this world of Smallville, since you can find kryptonite on every corner of the city, and every field in Smallville. They've played the Kryptonite angle a ton in this series. My least favorite recurring theme though, is when someone steals Clark's powers!!! That has been done to death!!!!!!! I hope there isn't a single episode where that happens in this last season... ugh. It's so easy to do, that I want to take a crack at it!

That could be pretty cool! They could put some money into their special effects, and maybe they'd actually have Superman in the movie!
