It would appear it's very subjective and a matter of ones own likes or dislikes.
For me, I see little point in producing silicone sculpts which look real, only to not continue that realism with real punched hair.

My take is that real hair is essential in a Cinemaquette.
That's their whole game, and it sets them apart.
That said, it is a ridiculously hard target to hit (real hair, real 'skin', real clothes etc. etc.). But that's the challenge they've given themselves. And it helps lend credence to their pricing.
I recognize and appreciate how much harder it must be to put together a CM, rather than say, a PF. Still, personally, I don't think they've ever hit bullseye, which is why I am not, let's say, a 'huge fan' of CM. But they seem to have plenty of fans, and they are still in business- I guess they're doing ok!
