Fullmetal Alchemist... plus revamp
I didnt see a thread for this so i figured i start one
and the revamp is called Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.... supposedly to be more closely related to the manga... we will see.... i must say though that the anime looks great

I watched the first 6 episodes and it is pretty close to the manga so far... i feel they are rushing it though... i am pretty happy with it... and yes the manga is good
just read the new chapter... lot is going on... its was good IMO

So this starts back from Day 1?
I've seen the original series. But are you saying that this is a revamp from scratch?

Well no, its not a total revamp. You'll find when you watch the first few episode it will seem the same as the first Fullmetal Alchemist anime apart from little differences. But eventually you'll get to a point where it changes and this is because its now following the manga instead. Just think of the part where Greed gets killed by the Fuhrer, this is were the big changes will start to happen. Its worth watching

I watched the 1st anime series when a few years ago when it came out, and I was crazy addicted. I'm not sure if I'm going to watch the revamped, though, since I have not read the manga, and I don't know if I want to see such big changes. LOL.
