I agree with 000moore about the method and use of epoxy.
For really thin hairline cracks, on a resin cast, where the paint is not severely effected - If I can get some superglue to flow in there, without making a mess - *super glue and zip kicker* - is usually the way I go.
So far they haven't broken again, in the same spot.
