So far so good, Randy! I'm loving the base. Ariel is looking sensual and soft, which I imagine will be broken up by her wings and clawed... Wait. The picture drawing you provided has her left armed with claws, but the sculpture seems be her right hand. Is the tease a picture in reverse?
In any case, this is extremely promising, and I can't wait to see more!

Dress is sculpted not cloth.
I actually ended up sculpting her in a mirror image to the artwork.

Hmmm.....why the position change? The art has her right leg up and bent, the sculpture has her left leg up. Interesting. I need to see her with her dress. Right now she looks like a nude teenager.
