Glad I canceled mine. Looks like a $250 frisbee, lol. Not very impressive at all.

Not the fossilized decayed look of the film to be sure.

I was really hoping that this piece would capture the age and decay portrayed in the movie scene, but it just looks to 'clean'. I still like it though, and the base is much better than the Pallisades version (my opinion). I can't quite decide whether to get it or not...

I love the shot in the movie, but I just find nothing appealing about this piece whatsoever. Shame.

I think a repaint would be in order, at a minimum on the Jocky him/it-self.
It would probably be dramatic the difference.

Those look awesome asaka, it certainly puts the hcg piece to shame even if theirs was moulded off the original maquette.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Yeah, LOTS of paint is missing.
So far HCG hasn't impressed me with many of their pieces. It seems like they have a great concept and by the time it goes through the factory, it turns out looking like a toy or cheap recast.
There have been a few (maybe 3) pieces lately that have turned out good but, for the asking prices of the others the attention to detail just blows.

Really? Where exactly? They look equally bland to me.
What about the rest of the sculpture? I think the bone wall and base add a lot to the Space Jockey. They were not a separate part of that original maquette which sold for $16000 in 2007.
