I went to the midnight show of this. It's basically a cross between Black Hawk Down and ID4 which I thought was a pretty good premise. A lot of these Alien movies don't really put the public in the middle of the battle for the entire movie. It started off great but then just got cliche. I also really don't like the alien design, it looked really lazy. Also, the spaceship designs were basically taken from "District 9"
