I want to see both, and the visuals of SP might be enough for me to just roll my eyes at the "plot".

You can give Sucker Punch a try. Some of the anime-like action-choreogoraph was well done.

I decided to give this movie a chance, so I downloaded it (cause I aint no sucker) and I'm watching it now.

I hope I hate it, so that I can save some money from not buying the statues.

Forty-five minutes into the movie, and I hate to admit it’s entertainingly bad. Predicatable story, cheesy script/dialogue, terrible acting….but with very sexy women, so not all is lost here.

So let me get this straight, this is a movie about human trafficking (sex slaves), and the women are expected to "perform" to stay alive. The performances are replaced with video game type action scenes, to edit out what would normally be an explicit dance sequence. Hmmm...

Okay, I think I got it...now back to the movie.

IMO it would have been better if they just left out the whole dance studio/nightclub stuff and just showed the girls being abused in the mental institution and using the action worlds as an escape from their abuse. The fantasy worlds within a fantasy world just didn't work for me. I also found the ending to be totally unsatisfying.

I totally agree with this Pat. The first level fantasy world was a total loss as far as I was concerned. The action sequences were very cool, and there should have only been the one fantasy world that she slipped into from the horrible reality she was thrown into.
