Old World Satyr - demo pics

Here are some in progress shots of a new piece we are tentatively calling Old World Satyr.




We start with Almaloy and position it into a skeletal form.


This is between 1/6 and 1/7 scale.


We bind the Almaloy with Floral Wire.

Some Epoxy putty, I'm using Billy Mayes Mighty Putty here.


We like to sculpt in Sculpey Firm, everyone likes something different.


Bulk the heck out of him and give him a weapon of some sort.

We realize his legs might be a bit short.


And this is where it is after leg extensions.
