Am I over reacting maybe but I am just fed up with it all.. In fact I will not be commissioning any more art I am done... pieces that have been started fine I will pay the artists when finished. I have contacted all other artists who I am waiting on pieces and said if they are not started don't start them cancel them. The love of this part of the hobby has died for me. I am just fed up with any kind of situation like this..

It's the old cliche of don't dish it if you can't take it.
If Lee really chooses to go this route it's too bad. It's fun to banter and see his pieces.

My only two cents is that you should have waited a few days before calling the artist on not paying you.
Im sorry to hear you don't want to collect art any more. Maybe you need a cooling off period right now

Lee, you can just disagree. You don't have to leave. You're 100 times more than just your thoughts on commissions. We can all poke holes in every opinion shared here today. By this time tomorrow, no one is going to remember anything.

Exactly. Take a little time to cool off and then if you want your account deleted, we'll start by deleting Risingstar's account and move on from there.

me too
Yeah I added them to my watch list too. Those are some really nice, affordable pieces. Also gotta say it was pretty cool of Mark Brooks to offer an artist's perspective. Mark the two quick sketches I got from you back at Wizard World LAs are two of my favorite sketches from my early days of collecting

You know, you and a sense of humor go together like ice cream and onions. I'm suddenly envisioning you as Daffy in a Duck Amuck cartoon, helplessly screaming, "Who's responsible for this??"
