Which Character Personifies Heroism More: Superman or Captain America?
My vote's for Captain America, because he's "just" a man, and he throws himself ahead of heroes like Thor and Iron Man in battle, and those Momos are far more durable than ol' Steve.
Much like Cap, Superman will fight until he's killed off... but Supes mainly has to worry about green rocks....
...Cap has to worry about getting "the Clap" from Carol Danvers.

bull---- on that "just a man" crap, he's a SUPER Solider, he is far beyond the limits of what an average man can do. but it's supermans great power that i think makes him more of a hero then anything else, here is quite possibly the most powerful being on the entire planet, he could easily take over, kill who he pleases, but instead what does he do? he lives up to the ideals of what a good man should be as taught to him by his ma and pa and does everything in his power to help anybody that needs it.
now don't get me wrong Cap's a great guy and i wouldn't take anything away from him, but i'll always have Clarks back in this argument

Superman is not a hero, he's pretty invincible, and there is virtually no risk when you have that much power. There is no fear of death for Supes. Being heroic means acting when you are afraid, risking yourself for others, in spite of that fear. Cap can do that, Supes, too powerful to have any fear for his own life.

Yep...but I'm sure the Marvelites don't wanna hear that.
I suppose it goes down to the argument of what heroism is.
Is heroism doing what others can't...NO
Is it doing what others won't...YES
Both men are selfless, don't have a scale of helping people or see any problem as too small for them to help out.
I don't see a stitch between them
People can argue that Superman is invulnerable and that it's easy to be a hero when you're indestructable, but I call BS on that...IMO that makes it easier to be a villain.
One had military training, one didn't.
One has limitless powers almost, one doesn't.
Apples and oranges comparison IMO.
