a question about base...

hi, i just recieved my first super sculpey and sculpting tools. i just took a semester course in college about sculpting thats all.

my question is about the base of a sculpture. i am planning to sculpt a mini bust, so i thought i can use a previously shaped wooden block and cover it with super sculpey and bake it like that. would it be allright? thanks
