Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Amazing Spider-man 7/10
Garfield and Stone were spot on, great chemistry much better than Maguire and Dunst.
The action was decent, but the finale was lacking for me, one scene in particular was cheesy as hell.
Overall a decent start, not as good as the Avengers, but there are good foundations with the leads for the sequels.

Safehouse 8/10
Acts of Valor 8/10
The Amazing Spider-Man 8/10 Decent revamp. Title should have been called Peter Parker, the Spectacular Spider-Man due to the heavy characterization. Not enough "amazing" moments to justify the title. Casting for Peter and Gwen are excellent. Sally Fields is very under utilized for such an accomplished actress. When comparing the Raimi films to this I would say that ASM is better casted but the Raimi films had more emotional depth.

Yes 8 to me is a one time watch kind of movie that was enjoyable but not good enough for me to want to own in my collection or get a repeat viewing.

If I don't want to watch a movie I give it 2-3 out of 10. 8 is pretty high. Your logic is skewed. LOL.

Ditto! 8's are definitely in my collection at home and worth seeing again. A 10 I'll see at least 3 times at the theatre.

Lol I don't need this abuse! Seriously and in all honesty it takes ALOT for a movie to impress me nowadays. Last year and up to this point only 2 movies mad my "BUY" list and they are The Raid and The Avengers
