CM should just stick to non-human pieces. I have yet to see a good human likeness from them.

A good number of people would, including the person who started this thread. Why post this comment? Does it help you in some way?

I think they should have gone with glass eyes for this. His eyebrows seem to be very bushy as well. I like everything about this statue except the head basically. Sometimes, their just isn't a polite way to put it.

So go with a rude way? I understand what youre saying, but there's ways to do things and ways not to.

Why start the thread if not to receive comments, both positive and negative?
If people post threads just to hear "wow, that's awesome! Spending over $2000 on this was so totally worth it!!!", then be prepared for the opposite reaction as well.

There's a difference between a negative comment and a rude comment IMO. I would argue that neither is necessary in a thread like this when a fellow collector is showing off their new pride and joy. Got nothing nice to say, then why not just move along. It's not constructive criticism on the piece that the artist will see. It's a pointless slam on a piece that the collector has already bought. If we're looking at a piece that's been announced and offering our criticisms, that's typical negative feedback and par for the course. If it's someone posting a recent purchase, it's a rude comment that isn't necessary for the type of thread we're in. That's my opinion on this.
