details in the face and hands are too soft. Like the color choices though.

agreed. The smaller pic I saw before looked better. When you get a larger picture...the whole thing just begins to unravel.

As a huge Supes fan, its saying something considering I haven't picked up a single piece from this line.

I have no idea what they're doing wrong with these things but they aren't appealing to me in the least

Looks like a combination of his New and Old costume mash together... looks pretty bad IMO.

This is what DC Collectibles has come to? Superman on a stick and a WW that looks like it should be on a little girl's birthday cake.

I highly recommend the Frank Quitely and Lee Bermejo statues. They are beautiful and well executed. The Rags Morales is nice too, but I understand if the "early Superman" trappings don't appeal to everyone.

This Shane Davis doesn't wow me, and I'm too picky to get him. There are too many DC lines demanding my dollar with Batman B&W and Cover Girls. Not to mention the Sideshow and Koto offerings.

And am I the only one worrying about leans with the Superman statues?

Seems to me the better way to go is to make the pole a clear material

I love Shane Davis artwork but this piece somehow just doesn't capture it. Easy pass.

I've seen the Lee and Rags Supes in person and personally, I didn't like the way they looked at all.

As for the Quitely piece, I've never enjoyed that since I first saw pics. I don't feel that his designs translate well to 3D statue form

This was on sale on Amazon a few days ago for a little over $30. Mine just came and the cape was completely broken off and in two pieces. Bummer. Guess it's going back for a replacement.
