So I was told today that XM will no longer be making coins to go along with their statues after this run. There will be no exclusives ether, just a small ES and that's it.
Honestly, kinda like it better that way.

Wow! I wonder why they're stopping? They were nice, but I too kind of like it better. There was no real sure fire way to get a coin from a reseller unless you order way in advanced, get lucky in the fight for pre-orders from retailers and/or pay more. They were nice to have but I can live with/without them.
Now I won't feel so bad for never being able to get one haha

Never cared for the coins, but they were a nice extra for those who committed in advance.
I don't agree with doing them away, even if I've seen a couple of people going full OCD with them - like, it doesn't matter if they just secured a sold out rare piece, they NEED the coin to boot. Beats me.

I really liked the coins. Wonder why XM would do that, but maybe they have to cut costs and beginn with the coins. Imho it's pretty sad. I hate beginning something, and not follow through.

Personally I'm happy for the change. It was annoying on PO day trying to decide whether to get
a) coin version but less chance of success
or
b) no coin with higher chance of success.
Now no more fragmentation, no more having to decide!
(and before anyone says anything, I like the adrenaline of ordering on PO day!)

i don't care about the coin. I only hope that they don't change their promise to don't exceed ES 999 and 999 SGD.
Even lower ES is appreciated from my side! at least for the 1/4 series!

I would have no problem with it, if XM had never had those coins, but to end it midway, wouldn't be nice at all. It was something unique.
But maybe so it begins. They have conquered their place in the market and now it's time for cutting costs. I mean since Magneto and Phoenix there was no elaborate base either.

Lol, Ms Marvel, She Hulk, Black Bolt, Daredevil all seem to ha e fairly intricate bases to me
