Whats with DC love affair with shrinking every statue and re releasing it?

I dont get DC they make 6500 Jim Lee Superman's undersized them so they are 10 1/2 inches tall instead of the full 12. They are selling under MSRP to this day!!! and then come out with a mini of it that is TINY?

They seem to make a mini out of so many statues even the undersized turner supergirl got a mini, alex ross superman forver mini, Brain Bolland wonder woman mini. I could go on

Whats the deal with them and shrinking every statue they make?

Because not everyone wants to spend $200+ on a statue. This makes certains designs more affordable and accessible to a broader customer base. I think its a good business decision.

Do you own any of the mini's they are smaller than an action figure. The full size due to their enormous run size always drop well under there MSRP you can get $200.00 full size for $120.00

I wouldn't say all the full size statues drop in price. I don't have any of the smaller scale. DC wouldn't make them if there wasn't a demand.

I own the Jim Lee Superman and Batman mini-statues as well as the Green Arrow mini-statue. I don't have a lot of space in my apartment so I can't get the full-size ones. The cheaper prices are also a big plus. I'm also a mini-bust collector for the same reasons.
