Is this the UK equivalent of the EFX shield/brand? I saw this the other day and noticed it was a metal version, was wondering if anyone has it to comment on quality/accuracy?

The center star and blue circle are indeed larger on the Hasbro shield. Having said that, head on, the shields are the same diameter. The red and silver bands on the Hasbro piece are smaller, and the shield itself is not as deep, which is where the difference is made up.

The real point in all this to me is the eFX shield is basically not available anymore (except high priced eBay sales) so at this time the Hasbro shield is about your only option and really a great deal for the money.
P.S. Now bring on a nice Thor hammer Hasbro!

Bringing my shield to Mickey's Halloween Party was mixed. Fun to take pics with but I did get a small nick in the red paint and on one of the non-painted areas.
