The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

Im not going to vote for the statue that I think has the best chance to win because of a company. Im voting for the statue i think in my opinion is the best statue in that category. I made the comment that if someone thinks a contest is rigged in favour of a company the vote splitting would work against them because people should be voting in the same manner. I would like to think no one cares for any company to win but the best statue to win.

I think to alot of people the choosing is difficult because of how close they would rate Darkness, Batman and Ghost Rider. It is not an easy pick. I honestly dont know which way I am leaning yet so have held off on voting to give it more thought.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

XM is my favourite but many collectors still haven't seen a XM piece in the flesh so it's only fair for a company like Sideshow to have Red Sonja, Captain Marvel and Spider - Man which are also extremely high quality statues
It isn't XM fault that the statues produced are so much better then it's rivals. To all those other companies such as SSC, they need to elevate there design and execution if they don't want XM (or other companies) to be on top.

I have to say that between Ghost Rider, Batman and The Darkness, the other 1:4 statues doesn't stand a chance unless by personal preference or a true fan of the character. The artistry alone and even originality of one of these are so hard to compare , even though I own the Darkness, I have to still consider all aspect of these three because each one deserve its own merit. I have to agree though that Captain Marvel can only be comparable to Black Bolt which I believe has a stronger presence than the Captain. Red Sonja may have a chance since its details, dynamic pose and needless to say "curve appeal" may give it a vote. This year is truly a celebration of the hobby but death to one's wallet. I look forward for the announcement of the winner.

I do wonder why Iron Studios's Spider Man is not considered?

I think a statue with massive QC problems canĀ“t be SOTY, just my thought.
